If you are watching your travel budget, consider that Blue Bayou does not charge admission based on a guest's age; rather, it determines the price of a ticket based on height. As of March 2011, guests 48 inches and taller pay $34.99 for admission to both parks, while those under 48 inches pay just $27.99. Individuals measuring less than 35 inches are admitted free to both Blue Bayou and Dixie Landin'.
If you don't enjoy waiting in long lines for your favorite rides, then consider visiting on Monday or Tuesday. Weekends see the highest volume of visitors and wait times for ride can exceed an hour depending on when you arrive and depart.
